update on the spanners

After more in-depth discussion last night with DH, who actually spoke directly with the good Dr T yesterday morning, it transpired that Dr Annoying “Will not ever have anything to do with Simone again.  He feels she cast him aside when she got a donor, and he is not a very forgiving man.”  So in actual fact what this means is that he won’t touch my case, which means he won’t see my surrogate or have anything to do with the surrogacy proceedings, even though he is the surrogacy Dr for the clinic.

This means that the very accommodating Dr T has picked up the whole affair, and now needs to seriously bone up on the process (getting tips from Dr Annoying – luckily Dr T delivered Dr Annoying’s grandson this week, so they are still on speaking terms…)

I guess it is great for us and the surrogate – now nobody has to deal with Dr Annoying, and we have a totally committed and generous Dr (T) on our side.  Yay!  It just sucks for him that he’s been landed with a whole lot of extra work.  I guess a couple of jars of jam (at least) are in order…

Oh, and now in other spanner related news, my new egg donor has pulled out.

Back to the drawing board, and a chat with the third friend to see if she is still up for it??

I am getting a bit tired of this game.
